I had set the aperture to 4.0 which was a pretty narrow depth of field, the bokeh was quite nice, although I'm not particularly one who goes after "bokeh", which is a Japanese term to describe the lens blur that is produced behind and before the focal point. Still I submitted the shot, it was interesting, although not something that I would define as my style in particular.

Now these following shots are more my style, street photographs of course. The character of different people make the photograph, a snapshot of a moving world.

Black and white , is still my preference but it has to be used wisely....it isn't just people that fascinate me when I do street photography, I'm just as fascinated by various shapes and forms that my sight stumble's upon.

AND last but not least, my favorite shot of the weekend. Which was taken with what else, but my IPHONE. That little crappy lens is seeing more action than my "big" camera these days, but I'm having a lot of fun with it.
This is actually a tribute shot that I dedicate to the late Carol Reed, I call it The Third Man, after one of his famous films. He was a director of various film noir films that inspire me. One of my many creative heroes, who I am honor to pay tribute to.
Taking a night shot with an IPhone takes a steady hand. I was fortunate to have just the right lighting in this composition.
