Notre Dame

I had to take it easy this evening, the neck injury I had last week is aggrevated and quite painful, carrying around a 10 pound camera and 25 pound backpack doesnt help. So I worked on some pictures during my dinner..a wonderful steak (medium rare) with potatoes and salad. For desert I had a cream puff filled with ice cream, smothered in a chocolate sauce.

I only took a few very small bites :-)

As you can see I am a big fan of black and white photography, I don't exclude other forms but when it comes to structures, I find B&W has a nack to show you both the perfect and imperfect parts..

Although with the Notre Dame, it is hard to find any imperfection...The first photo is for my sister, of saint theresa. (her name is also theresa and just turned 50 xoxo)

Light was a challnge in Notre Dame, very very low light and I didn't bring a tripod. I had to be creative and think I did sorta "ok", not great.

All in all Notre dame did not leave me with a profound impact, not like Louve and certainly not like Mandaline or Musee D'orsay. Still it is worth seeing.

As you see in this one below , light was a challenge

Here is a shot that is my favorite from the set of Notre Dame, it has my own little creative spin on it.

you can click on any image if you wish to see the bigger size.

Hope everyone is doing well.
