The tulip festival is currently going on, now I promised myself that I was not going on a rant on how much I hate the flower.
Yes, he flower is very beautiful, and yes for those that know the story that Canada shares with the Netherlands, there is a very special behind this festival. BUT every tulip festival, there are an overabundance of "pretty tulip photographs" I have to admit, I have probably taken a photograph of a Tulip or two before in that same standard fashion, well this year I took two photographs with my IPhone, and image quality is below par but with available light and angle I think I made the most of these two opportunities to give me shots that showed a different side of tulips. Now no tulips were actually damaged by my hand during either of these scenarios, the first was a fluke, as I stumbled upon a decapitated tulip in a construction zone, the second was taken after a may snow frost. the second photo had to be overdone process wise to save it but I still found it interesting, with no way to control aperture on the Iphone there was no way I can make that shot work completely.
I also took this shot of the Kitchen sink (with the Iphone) at my parents house on Mothers day weekend. the grey scale came out quite well mostly due to the great light from the window.
Now for Non Iphone photographs, remember back a few months ago I mentioned a project that involved "hands", well I took more shots that fall into that category this past weekend.
